From the Archives: Legendary Queens of Cinema Visit Yamamori

In its many years situated in the heart of Dublin, Yamamori has had many amazing visitors - and a few of cinema’s leading ladies are true highlights.

Meryl Streep herself stopped by Yamamori on George’s Street while filming ‘Dancing at Lughnasa’ in Ireland (her first shoot in the country), back in 1997. The Sunday World (24 August 1997) caught an exclusive photo of Streep while she dined at Yamamori, before shopping at Westbury Mall. According to Sunday World’s Siobhan Hegarty, Streep loved Dublin: “The stunning actress has become so fond of the city she has moved her family to [the] city for the duration of her movie shoot..”

And #TBT to when the legendary Anjelica Huston dropped by the South City Noodles location on George’s Street and sang our praises: “Thank you for the divine ramen!” (And thank you, Anjelica, for two of the greatest cult favourite matriarchs in film history, Morticia Addams and Etheline Tenenbaum!)

Follow the Yamamori Archives here on the News blog for loads of history flashbacks!

A good idea with passionate individuals behind it is what gets me going!

With training and work experience in Marketing, Event Management and Architecture along with being an International Sailing Coach for the past ten years I have been afforded the opportunity to work alongside many inspiring individuals and groups.

With this experience I came to realise my passion and strengths are within creating and building relationships as well as realizing an idea or team's potential and helping them present that potential to prospective clients both visually and verbally.

I am always looking for a challenge and for the opportunity to help an individual or team bring an idea/dream to fruition!

Feel free to reach out for a chat.
