Happy Mother's Day
We would love to wish a special mother’s day to all our Yamamori Moms.
We appreciate and acknowledge each and every one of you for showing us the true meaning of unconditional love. Even though some of us aren't the little kids we once were, the seeds you planted in us still guide us on every path of our journey.
We wish you the best of health and success in your future endeavours.

Mothers Day in Japan
Before the second world war, march 6 was considered mother’s day in japan because that was the birthday of the empress(Mother of the Emperor). When the second world war started, the Japanese were banned from celebrating mother’s day because it is a western custom. After the war, the Japanese began celebrating mother’s day again and scheduled it for the second Sunday of May.
There are various ways of celebrating Mother’s day in Japan, the most common are giving gifts to your mothers such as flowers, cakes accessories and cards. Other people take their mums to dinner at places like Yamamori. For mothers who love to shop, a shopping spree is ideal on the children’s tab. While others just love to spend time with their children.
Be sure to make your Mum feel special not just today but every day.
