3. weekly japan ireland association meet ups
The Japan Ireland Association meets at 7pm every Wednesday night at Yamamori Tengu at the back of North City on Ormond Quay Lower. From the Japan Ireland Facebook page: “Founded on 25th Nov 2006, Our aim is to create a friendly and sociable way for Japanese people in Ireland and those in Ireland with an interest in Japanese to meet, talk and hopefully build some lasting friendships.”

4. sushi and craft beer event (taste the island)
THURSDAY, 17 OCTOBER 2019, 6.30PM - 9.30PM // yamamori tengu, 37 Great Strand street (behind yamamori north)
“Irish seafood is brought to the chefs table to showcase the superb quality of the islands offerings. Marcus Davies is presenting a history and heritage of sushi and where its origins are based and how we love to eat it today. We will then have an introduction and tasting to the Irish award winning craft Brewery The Porterhouse. We will sip, sample, taste and match beers to freshly cut sashimi and Nigiri.” Co-hosted by Porterhouse Brew Co. Part of the Taste the Island festival. Supported by Failte Ireland.

5. Late nights at yamamori
Tengu and Kaizen Bar are Yamamori’s northside night clubs, with DJs every weekend and select weeknights, running 11pm til late. International and local DJs, and an eclectic mix of house, disco, garage, and more. See the full October lineup here.
